GIVING THANKS. For us, this time of year is one of reflection on what has passed and preparation for what is to come. First, we give thanks to our community of ranchers for their hard, but rewarding work. Next, we give thanks to our incredible team of staff, who handle the challenges of a whole-animal meat business with grace. Lastly, we give thanks to our community of patrons, all of whom enable the existence of Marin Sun Farms. For the last twenty years, our Founder, David Evans, has tirelessly worked to gain the attention of caring individuals, chefs, members of the media, and beyond who can shine their lights on how critical an agricultural community is to the greater community at large. He has watched his own Marin Sun Farms grow from the understanding of that importance and has been proud to watch others in our agricultural community flourish as the popularity of farm-direct foods and goods has gained traction. The future of Marin Sun Farms looks much like the same as the past - a team of good people committing ourselves to the hard work of getting meat raised by local and regional family, pasture-based farmers to your plates. This season, we take a deep breath and pause to remember the underlying foundation for this work of dedication to our earth, our soil, all animals, big and small, and to our environment as a whole - and we give thanks to each and every one of you for your support in our efforts.
