Along with our zinnias, sunflowers and italian basil, we now have Strawberry Blonde sunflowers, Cupcakes cosmos, Agave zinnias, lemon basil and cinnamon basil added to the mix!

🍏 Apples are ready! 🍎 We’re picking three delicious varieties right now:

🍎 Paula Red: One of the earliest of the season (and one of Kate’s favorites!) Bright red with a lively, sprightly tart flavor and a touch of sweetness (some detect a hint of strawberry!) Great for fresh snacking and makes wonderful applesauce.

🍏 Ohio Nonpareil: A true Ohio heirloom (originated near Massillon before 1850). Large fruit with pale yellow skin striped in red. Firm, juicy, aromatic flesh with a mild, sweet-tart flavor. Excellent for fresh eating or baking — a local classic with firmer texture. (Wonderful dipped in apple butter! - coming soon! 😋)

🍎 Honeycrisp: The crowd favorite. Crisp and super juicy with a perfect balance of honey-sweet and mild tart flavor. Outstanding for fresh eating and salads. Limited quantities available right now, more coming soon!

Our flowers are finally blooming! 😍 Stop by and grab a bouquet with your fruits and veggies! 🍑🌽

I’ve wanted to plant more flowers on the farm (beyond our usual sunflowers) for a LONG time. This year we finally got a big field planted… only for a spring storm to wash it all away. Life, weather, and other crop priorities delayed the next plantings, but our zinnias and sunflowers are finally blooming - with more coming soon! 💗

Peach season will be short this year 🍑

We’re incredibly thankful for the few trees that pulled through with a decent crop! We are picking limited quantities daily as they ripen. We know a lot of local farms share our pain of having hundreds of peach trees set no fruit at all this year, so these loaded branches feel extra special right now.

When life gives you bad weather… make jam! 🍓🍒

Between the spring frosts and the hail and wind storms, several of our favorite crops had little to no fruit this year. 💔

So Kate got to work and turned what we did get into some really yummy (and beautiful!) jam.

New this year:

• Summer Solstice Preserve - tart cherry & blueberry! 🫐🍒

• Nectarine Jam 🧡

• Methley Plum Jelly 💜

• Shiro Plum Jam 💛

Back again:

• Tart Cherry 🍒 (this year we separated the dark red sour cherries from the bright red to get two different shades of jam! 😍)

• Strawberry - a mix of our strawberry varieties! 🍓

• Earliglow Strawberry - a fan favorite! Earliglow are our tiny super sweet strawberries! 🍓

Stop by and grab a jar (or three) of something sweet from a tough season! We do have more available by order. 💛
