I love the alone times that we share doing night time animal chores ❤️ We catch up and talk about the day. We wander around check out things that have grown in the garden or changed with the seasons. We talk about our dreams or plans for this or that, over here and over there. And sometimes we catch some gals and take selfies 🥰 It’s so fun to get to do this together!

We started The Neighbor’s Homestead to transform our lives to be healthier, happier, and more free-range.

If you stop by our homestead, you may see chickens pecking and scratching like chickens, ducks sifting through the grass like ducks, goats browsing and leaping like goats, and pigs rooting and digging like pigs.

We are excited to share what we produce with our neighbors.

At The Neighbor’s Homestead you can purchase chicken & duck eggs that are fed organic grains, free choice mineral nutrients, bugs from nature, and oyster shells from the sea.

These birds have been loved, cuddled, and adored since they were tiny chicks and ducklings.

Unlike mono-culture eggs that you can easily find from every mega-chain supermarket, we have over 10 different breeds of chickens, making eggs that vary from blue, pink, green, and white, to nearly every shade of brown.

When we say free-range, we also don't just mean 2 square feet. Our chickens are happy chickens, exploring the land, and enjoying their lives.

And, as for ducks, we're proud to exclusively have a gaggle of 10 Khaki Campbells, the most prolific layers, who splash, play, and quack like their lives depend on it - though often during the day you may find them taking long, peaceful naps.

Located up Mount Pleasant, we're convenient for all in the PA-Sequim area!
