Most of the meeting was spent discussing and workshopping a statement about the co-op vision and values collectively written by members of the steering committee. Thanks to everyone who made our community meeting last Sunday a success.
We are so grateful to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church for opening their parish hall to us.
The enthusiasm and perspectives of attendees was inspiring and clarifying.
The baked goods from Chestnut Creek Bakery made our time that much sweeter!
We look forward to seeing you all next time we meet. Until then, please feel free to reach out.

Want to learn more, connect with community members and see how you can get involved with the Port Jervis Food Co-op initiative? Come to our community meeting on Sunday, March 27 from 2:00-3:30 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church (31 W. Main Street) in Port.

Our agenda for the meeting will include:
Meeting one another,
Sharing details about the project to-date,
Reviewing our initial vision for the co-op,
And, most important of all, listening to what you think!
In other news, the community survey is still open. A big thank you to the 180 community members who completed the survey. It has been so exciting to see the responses roll-in.
