Unfortunately cool evening temps have made the strawberries slow down growing & ripening:(
So we’ve decided to pause picking and give the berry fields time to ripen and sweeten! No one wants green, sour berries and so we wait……
Stay posted for picking hours available again Wednesday and beyond. This is definitely not a normal Spring and the season has been erratic- so stay tuned daily for updates as we do our best to serve you!🍓

Our store, Cafe and Bakery are OPEN as usual: 8am-7pm Monday- Friday
8am-5pm Saturday
with VERY LIMITED Prepicked berries while supply lasts daily!

Morning 🍓 UPDATE!!!!!

We are sorry to report that the weather is chilly and the berries are not ripening fast. There are not many red berries to be had today. We do not technically close the patch but we recommend waiting to another day to pick if possible!

Our store is open with limited Prepicked berries today(while supply lasts) & the Way Cafe is serving hot breakfast and lunch! If you’d like to shop local stop on in 8am-5pm!

🍓🍓🍓UPDATE- please read fully!!
We had great crowds today and they have fully picked, bought and enjoyed the berries so far!
*HOWEVER, we are out of PREPICKED berries for today in-store! No orders are being taken at this time due to lack of supply today & tomorrow.
*U-pick is OPEN BUT CHALLENGING now! Give us a day or two if you want larger quantities or come out tomorrow for fun but smaller amounts of berries available!

Our Strawberries are available now!

🍓Prepicked berries available in-store while supply lasts daily Monday-Saturday.
🍓U-pick fields OPEN FRIDAY, 5/29/26 starting at 8am. Open Saturday 8am-5pm OR as long as ripe berries are abundant! Grab your boots and buckets and we’ll see you in the field!
🍓Hours for U-pick next week posted soon- stay tuned!
🍓Check back daily for updates on availability. It’s been a long Spring full of freezing 🥶 nights and rainy days but as the sun starts to shine, the surviving berries are finally ripening nicely into sweet, red little gems of Summer!

A grim blossom update- yes the Grim Reaper made an appearance in the cherry & peach orchards this Spring….sad but true!
Apples and strawberries narrowly escaped so far!

Unfortunately, a lot of the East Coast is suffering fruit blossom losses, so we’re not alone but in this case misery does not like company. Our thoughts are with many fellow orchardists who are figuring out how to move forward this year! It’s been a wild ride!
