We are thrilled to announce in partnership with our friends over at Visit Destin-Fort Walton Beach

For the fourth consecutive year, TAKE A KID FISHING DAY 2026 will be held on Sunday October 4, 2026!!!!

This year we have some pretty huge developments…..

First,

We are honored to welcome Coastal Conservation Association Florida into the mix as one of our flagship sponsors of the event.

This event isn’t just about fishing, it’s about conservation as well!

This year we will have 100 Rods to GIVE AWAY to the first kids 12 and under!!!!!! That’s DOUBLE from last year!!!!!

Bait will be provided courtesy of St. Joe Shrimp Co.

Tackle will be provided by the pier along with other equipment for kids to use for free throughout the day.

We do encourage bringing your own rod!

Parents wishing to fish may rent rods or bring your own!

We will have multiple vendors and organizations set up on the pier, along with games and of course we got Little Painting & Maintenance coming back to whip up all those good snacks!!!!!
