My Grandma Mearl passed away today. She loved and was loved very much. She made it 97 years on this planet and sure appreciated the life she had. She was funny, kind, opinionated, hardworking and an amazing confidante. I hope that I can be as wonderful of a Grandma, Great Grandma and Mom as she was. I love her so very much. ♥️

Every year the boys and I light candles of gratitude, intuition and blessings for others to celebrate and reflect on Winter Solstice. This year felt particularly simple, lighthearted, and silly. I am grateful to them for sharing this practice with me each year. It’s very meaningful to me and I just really love their company. I set intentions for much more outdoor time, a successful school year, health, ease, peace and prosperity. We sent blessings to those we miss, know, and love. We were grateful for lots of the simple things in life. I am incredibly grateful for you all. Sending lots of blessings to everyone I know. May this deep darkness give you rest and reflection. May the coming of light bring you energy and joy. Happy Winer Solstice. 🖤
