Roasted Purple Cauliflower with Garlic and Parmesan
Heat oven to 425°, drizzle olive oil, cut up the cauliflower and add garlic | half way through add Parmesan, bake it 15-20sh mins and enjoy with your main entree.

So tasty!!

If you still have those peppers from last week, maybe you want to make Chile Relleno!?

So yummy! And doesn’t take too long.

Broil peppers on hi for 10 mins (flip em in between)

Remove from oven and put in ziplock bag or bowl with Saran Wrap (let sit 10 mins)

Remove and peel off skin, remove seeds and stem (you can cut them or just use your hands and keep some of the peppers in tact for stuffing cheese…

Fill with Mexican blend cheese or Monterey cheese (we used shredded) use toothpicks if you need to keep them together

Whisk 2 egg whites until fluffy add in yolks one and a time and batter will turn a golden yellow

Have a plate with flour ready

Have a skillet with hot oil ready (we used olive oil)

Step 1, dip the peppers in flour
Step 2, dip the peppers in the batter
Step 3, put the peppers into the hot oil
Step 4, flip them
Step 5, serve on a plate

Remove when cooked and pour enchilada sauce or your favorite salsa roja. Or eat them plain!

All the tizzy about lettuce, smack dab in the middle of salad season. 🤦‍♀️ Thankfully, when you get your veggies from us, you’re not getting any weird …stuff 💩. (Looking at you Taylor Farms and your cyclospora)

Our lettuce isn’t being shipped from across the country, handled by dozens of people, sitting under harsh LED lights in the grocery store packed in plastic for weeks.

Our lettuce is coming straight from Pacific Northwest soil. This week specifically, it’s coming from Siri & Sons, a multi-generational family owned farm - Just 14 miles from Portland.

Thank you Vicky Herrera for inviting us to a wonderful farm meet up! It was so incredible learning all about the care that goes into each plant— From seed, to harvest, to table. Hearing about the history of the farm along with the multi-generational family history of farming was such a treat.

We got to see many varieties of peppers, tomatoes, fennel, kale, and more.

SOOO colorful and fresh!!!
