Bold Reuse

Bold Reuse We're on a mission to end single-use waste by making reusable packaging easy. Follow along & see how we're helping the biggest brands ditch the disposables.

If you are a food cart customer, you’ve probably considered the problem of disposable containers associated with your to-go lunch. In fact, the food carts in downtown Portland use roughly 60,000 disposable containers every month – a small truckload! Nearly all end up in the landfill. Even the compostable ones. GO Box uses containers made of BPA-free, dishwasher-safe #5 plastic and will be recycled at the end of their life. You can eat your lunch and love the planet too!

At this year’s Green Sports Alliance Summit, one thing was clear: sports sustainability has moved from intention to operations. The conversations were less about whether sustainability matters and more about how to make it happen.

We pulled together our Top 5 Takeaways from the GSA Summit, including what’s changing operationally, where reuse fits in, and what venue leaders should be paying attention to next.

A few themes that kept coming up:
🟪 Reuse is becoming part of core venue operations.
📊 Measurable impact matters more than promises.
🤝 Sustainability is increasingly tied to partnerships, sponsorships, and fan experience.
🏟️ The most successful programs are designed to work in real-world operations.

We'd love to hear what stood out to others who attended the GSA Summit or connect with anyone exploring reusables in sports and entertainment.

We’re heading to the Green Sports Alliance Summit in Cleveland next month! See you there?

We’re especially excited about this session with our own Heather Watkins, alongside leaders from Climate Pledge Arena/Seattle Kraken, the Portland Timbers, and the San Francisco Giants. They’ll get into what it really takes to move from single-use to reuse. What has worked. What hasn't. And what surprised them most once programs were up and running.

Come find us at the Summit on Thursday, May 7! We’d love to connect.

At Bold Reuse, Earth Day isn't a moment — it's our default.

The businesses we work with didn't wait for a calendar reminder to care about the planet. They built reuse into their operations, their culture, and their customer experience.

That's the difference between talking about sustainability and living it.

7.5 million single-use items eliminated. Hundreds of businesses leading the way. And a growing movement of people who believe that what we do every day matters far more than what we say once a year.

Happy Earth Day. Now let's get back to work.

120 years strong and still raising the standard. ️⚾💧

At Sloan Park in Mesa, Arizona, Sloan Valve Company celebrated its 120th anniversary as the Chicago Cubs kicked off their Spring Training.

Since 1906, Sloan has been dedicated to products that work smart and deliver enduring value. As the world’s leading manufacturer of water-efficient solutions, sustainability is not a side initiative. It’s built into their legacy.

This season, Bold Reuse is partnering with Sloan to minimize waste at every pre-game tailgate with reusable cups and hot dog boats.

A legacy brand continuing to raise the standard with less single-use waste. We’ll root, root, root for that. 📣

Another incredible year at the WM Phoenix Open ⛳

We’re proud to have supported this zero-waste event with reusable cups, showing what’s possible when is implemented at scale and delivers measurable waste reduction at one of the largest sporting events in the world. This event highlights how well-designed reusable systems reduce environmental impact and enhance the fan experience.

Grateful to collaborate with WM, and all those leading by example to make a positive impact. It's a win for fans. A win for communities. A win for our planet. 🌎
