Montavilla Food Co-op is member-owned and will be open to everyone to shop. Member-owners will benefit from the co-op financially and through control of the direction of the store. Our next board meeting will be held at Threshold Brewing, 403 SE 79th Ave, from 6:30-7:30 on Tuesday July 7, 2026. We will discuss the future of the market, prospects to expand our presence at Quiche Me If You Can, and potential grant funding that may be available.

However, we may not be able to continue with this project due to a shortage of board members. If you are passionate about bringing a cooperative grocery to Montavilla and have the time and energy to help make it happen, we'd love to have you aboard. If you are interested in joining us, or just in learning more, we hope you can come chat with us in person on Tuesday.

We thank the Montavilla Farmers Market for hosting our booth there for the past few years. We have moved on from the market for now as we focus on new paths for future growth. We encourage you to visit the market and its many fine local vendors every Sunday at SE 76th and Stark from 10 a.m to 2 p.m.

You are invited to the Montavilla Food Co-op's Annual Meeting and Barbeque from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday May 2nd at Oak Flat Vineyards Tasting Room. We will celebrate the work of the last year, share some exciting updates on the year to come, and welcome your questions, ideas, conversation and company.

Light snacks will be provided, wine and beverages available for purchase. BBQ dinner available as well; tickets are available for purchase when RSVP'ing. Short presentation at 3:45 with food and fun to follow.
