Apparently, this is a case where the cure is worse than the disease. A larvicide added to drinking water in certain areas of Brazil may be the cause of these birth defects. The larvicide, manufactured by a Japanese company associated with Monsanto, is added to water to hinder the larval development of mosquitos.

Last day of the honey sale!
We anticipate selling out of our extremely local honey tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 26th. Sale begins at 10 am and continues until the last quart jars are gone. Same price as last year, $20 each.
