This week is so special because we get to spotlight one of our sensational farmers, Fungilicious! Their stunning gourmet mushrooms have become a staple at the Cedar Mill Farmers Market. Not only are the mushrooms delicious, but they are so eye-catching, you'll spot them from halfway across the market!

These mushrooms are tasty and contain medicinal properties! Lion's Mane, a mushroom of beautiful cascading tendrils, helps to support brain health. While oyster mushrooms, which Fungilicious sells in an array of gorgeous colors, are filled with anti-oxidants and can lower cholesterol. Come visit Fungilicious and make much room in your fridge for mushrooms! 🍄‍🟫

🥦Welcome to the Power of Produce Booth!🥦

The Cedar Mill Farmers Market POP club is a market based children's program that seeks to teach kids about fruits and vegetables, food production, as well as ecological processes such as pollination or the rain cycle.

Each week there is a new fun activity at the POP booth, such as farmers market scavenger hunts, plant identification, seed planting, crafts, and much much more!

After participating in the activity, kids get $2 to spend on the produce of their choice at the market! These tokens serve to empower kids, by giving them the ability to buy from, and get to know the farmers!

The POP booth is a great place to spend a Saturday morning! Come join us at the Cedar Mill Farmers Market, every Saturday 9am-2pm!☀

Our Vendor Spotlight of the day goes to a new vendor, who we are so excited to welcome into our community, Jess Pies! Nothing encapsulates Jess' mission more than her slogan, "We spread joy…pies & baked goods are just delicious!"

She is not kidding about the deliciousness of these pies! In perfect little mini form, Jess' creations are ideal for a picnic in the park, or a sweet after-diner treat! Jess is always drawing inspiration from fresh, local ingredients, leading to a different specialty flavor each week! Come visit her at the market to see what she's cooking up! 🥧
