Grandpa's Cafe and Polish Deli Portland's authentic Polish deli. Grandpa's Cafe is a unique destination located at the historic Polish Library Building in Portland's Overlook Neighborhood.

What makes us unique also provide our cutomers with a wide selection of Polish sausages and products imported from Poland so you can enjoy the wonderful taste of Poland in the comfort of your own home. We're only once a week. Sundays from 10 A.M. to 1 PM. Visiting Grandpa's Cafe can be a great way to start off your week. Because we are a part of the Polish Library Building, we can only serve membe

rs of the Polish Library Building Association and their guests. Fortunately, becoming a member is quick, inexpensive, and it comes with huge rewards. There are several membership levels ranging from Full Membership to Friend of the Library. But if you can't decide which one you'd like, you can always get a one day membership for $1. Applications are available at the Cafe.

A Gathering in Memory of Małgorzata Chrzanowska-Jeske

Saturday, June 6th @ 12 noon at the Polish Library Building

After a sudden illness, which she battled fiercely, Małgorzata Chrzanowska-Jeske passed away this May. Friends, colleagues, students, and all who knew her are invited to gather, share memories, and reflect upon an accomplished, busy, and fulfilling life cut short, with so many plans in progress. There will be stories, a peak at the photos and videos with which her family chronicled her life, passions, and adventures, along with light refreshments reflecting her tastes and background.

Join us this Sunday to celebrate our annual (early) Mothers and Fathers Day. May 3rd is also the day Poland celebrates its constitution, the first constitution in Europe, and the second in the world after the US constitution.

The events starts at 12:30 PM. Please join us we will have performances by the students of the Polish School, a live performance by our own band DeMolKa, and some sweets.

There will also be a grill organized by the Polish Library Building Association. Please join us, admission and food is free.
