🍯Shout out to our "honey guy". That's what he was originally saved as in our contact list LOL. Devon owns and operates Greenway Apiaries in Coaldale.

We buy HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of pounds of honey every month for the Farm Store ...and Devon's hives keep on providing consistent, delicious, local honey!

We are so proud to be part of this community! Thank you everyone of our customers and vendors who donated to our Spring Cleaning - Donate your Kitchen Stuff! Drive!

Sending a big THANK YOU to our friends at The Farm Store! Throughout the month of April, Angela and the team collected cookware, bakeware, dinnerware, kitchen tools and more from community members to donate directly to Hope Center for survivors receiving services to help improve their access to cook at home! The remaining items not immediately needed by our organization will be sold in the future at The Farm Store to benefit Hope Center, too! Thank you to the many people who contributed items to this Spring Cleaning event! What a wonderful way, not only to support survivors, but also to reduce unnecessary waste! We are so grateful for the creative ways community partners help to make offerings to survivors and their families comprehensive!

🗣Shout out to one of our favorite farmer families, Beyer Farms Dairy, LLC! They have a dairy in Danville where they manage an A2A2 dairy herd.

Every Monday,
🐄They milk their cows.
🐄They bottle the milk.
🐄They deliver to The Farm Store.

Raw milk, in glass bottles, delivered the day it was milked.

👀Shelf life is 2 weeks! But we sell it in one. So you get one week in your fridge at home.

A2A2 is the protein in the milk. It's more digestible than the A1 varieties which dominate the standard grocery store shelves.

Memorial Day today. We remember our fallen heroes who fought to protect our freedoms.

We are closed today. We enjoyed breakfast at the Schuylkill Haven High School organized by the Schuylkill Haven Lions Club and the cooked by Blue Mountain High School boys soccer team. It was delicious!

We made sure each of our children had a poppy to take home. The kids asked, "why is it red?" The woman who gave them to us was hesitant to tell the kids about why the poppy is red. It's red for the blood of the soldiers. The ultimate sacrifice. The reason for a day of remembrance. Please take time from your day to teach the next generation about our nation's sacrifice.

🎥 One of the COOLEST experiences thus far... filming cooking content for PA Preferred in Lancaster on Friday.

I am no Martha Stewart but I did think about her during the session 😆 The teams of people creating these videos are incredible.

I cooked our crustless quiche with Honey Brook Farm sausage and eggs plus local veggies. Then made HBF sausage and our famous hotdogs and a side of roasted local veggies.

The videos will be posted in about two months. We'll be sure to share the links! (They said I did a great job, but there's definitely some editing to be done 😅)
