Part-Time Position (possible full-time in the future)

We are looking for someone with the following qualities:
•Reliable
•Works well in a fast-paced environment
•Self-Motivated
•Good customer service skills
•Able to multi-task
•Able to lift a minimum of 45 #'s
•Must be at least 18 years old

•$17/hr STARTING wage
•3% Company IRA match after 90 days employment
•Holiday bonuses!
•One full weekend off guaranteed every month
•Lunch provided daily

Job duties include but not limited to:
-Assisting customers in store front
-Packaging various fresh meats
-Putting together customer orders
-Stocking product
-Cutting/slicing/packaging smoked sausages

We are open and operating regular hours.
Thank you for the patience to get back up and running as normal!
We are now trying to catch up on the couple days lost for meat sale orders!
We hope you all made it safe through the blizzard

☀️We will be open regular hours tomorrow!☀️

After some help... we've cleared the snow and fixed all except one of the issues we were facing!

⛽️We will NOT have Off-Road Diesel.
The parts to repair the diesel pump are shipping, but they won't arrive until sometime Thursday.
We will keep you posted once it has been repaired.
All other fuel is still available.

We look forward to getting things back open and running!

🚨 CLOSED TUESDAY, MARCH 17TH 2026🚨

With the windchills, snow still covering our emergency exits and employees still unable to get out of their driveways or down roads near us - we will be unable to open today.

We apologize for any inconvenience!

I know we all want to clear out this snow and get back to normal, but please make sure safety comes first!

Hi there! Us again!
*Long post alert*

The wind has changed directions and died down a bit... which has helped keep the snow clear in certain areas (hopefully stays that way over night).
We're making some headway on clearing the snow where the plow can't reach - all by hand, with our shovels!

Our 6 year old has even been out and helping us shovel too! Though I think he's having more fun than us 😅

🚨As far as tomorrow goes...
I cannot guarantee we will be open🚨
If we are able to open, it's most likely going to be a late start - 9am or 10am.

Do we want to be open? OF COURSE.

However, We have A LOT of clean-up to do.
Multiple compressors, roof/awnings, doors, loading docks etc. - all to shovel out by hand.
Not to mention not knowing how many (if any) of our employees are going to be able to get to work safely. They're digging out of their driveways just as much as we are!

We're only 2 people with 2 young children, but we will do our best! 🫡

We will keep clearing snow late into tonight, hoping it doesn't drift back closed by tomorrow morning.

We will update if/when we will open - as soon as we can.

As I've said before... in the event of an emergency needing fuel, water, etc... please call 906-290-6585 & we will do what we can to help!

A little bit of what we're dealing with!

Wow! What a blizzard!
Being on top of a hill with no trees and all this wind, is making it extremely difficult to keep the snow clear.
Our entire walkway into the store keeps building up 5ft+ snow drifts, same with the parking lot!
At this point we can't even get the front door open.
With that being said... we will not be opening today. 😔
If there is an emergency and you need fuel or water, call us at 906-290-6585 and we will do our best to help.

**UPDATE- We will be closed March 16th. Please see our most recent post.

As of right now - we are looking at opening late tomorrow.
Possibly late morning/early afternoon between 11-1pm, March 16th 2026.
Opening time (if any) will depend on the weather conditions over night and into the morning.
We will keep you updated on our page.
