At Green Tree Pecan Company, we're locally owned. If you come in the store or give us a call, more than likely, you're going to be speaking to one of the family. We get quite a few questions about where we're located and who we're affiliated with, so here's a proper introduction! Dennis and Kim Bancroft have been in the Pecan business since the 1970's, opening the Green Tree
Pecan Co. store May 9, 2002, here in Powell, Texas. Now their son, John and his wife, Jasmine work alongside their daughter Rebecca at the store. We bake almost all of our own goodies and make lunches ourselves. We're always happy to meet new friends and visit with old ones at the store. In the after-school hours you might see Rebecca's two children, Landon and Chloie, come to 'help out' and be with the family. We love what we do and we all consider ourselves blessed to be able to work together and in such a unique community with so much history. Our roots run deep here.
