Powhatan Village Farmers Market A weekly seasonal makers-only farmers market open every Thursday rain or shine from May-September in the Powhatan Village's Fighting Creek Park. DOG friendly!

The Powhatan Village Farmers Market (PVFM), operated by Powhatan County Parks and Recreation, offers fresh local produce, fruits and berries, pastured meats and poultry, baked goods, value added products like jams and jellies, specialty drink products, artisan crafts and more! We have food trucks, free kid's activities and live music weekly May through October. PVFM is conveniently located at the Bienvenue Event Center at 3841 Old Buckingham Rd, Powhatan, VA 23139. We are right on Route 13 in the Village of Powhatan Courthouse.

After last week’s pop-up storm, our vendors could use some extra love, Powhatan!

Come on out tomorrow for live music by the super talented Haylee Dove and bring the fur kids for back-to-school portraits by Brit Rose (half of the $25 proceeds go towards Powhatan Animal Control!)

To our Powhatan Village Farmers Market community,

We want to share a note regarding the unexpected pop-up storm that hit the market last Thursday. While we are heartbroken that several of our vendors suffered damage and losses to their tents and products, we are profoundly grateful and relieved that no one was hurt.

In moments like this, the true strength of our community shines through. The immediate camaraderie, mutual support, and willingness of neighbors and fellow vendors to pitch in and help one another truly embody the spirit of our market.

Safety remains our highest priority. Our Parks and Recreation team is reviewing our existing emergency protocols and standard operating procedures to ensure everyone remains safe during sudden, severe weather events.

Thank you for your continued support, resilience, and love for our market family. Come out and support our vendors at market again this Thursday to show them some extra love and help us end this season strong!

Celebrate back-to-school with River City Wood Fire Rama's Smoothies Cafe & Malcolm Pulley live! Weather permitting, there will also be a drone demo by the sheriff’s office.

This will be the last week for some of our regular vendors and we have a couple of new vendors joining us, so now’s a great time to come by the market.

We’ll be watching the radar closely, but as long as the storms stay at bay, we’ll see you tomorrow starting at 4 PM! 🌂

Ready for a beautiful summer day, Powhatan?! ☀️

Join us tomorrow Thursday 8/13 from 4 to 6:30 PM at Fighting Creek Park (2200 Mann Rd) for crazy fresh produce thanks to Crazy Farm , live music by the fabulous Megan Luck, delicious dinner with _tacorey_rva and ice cold lemonade by whiskedelegance!

Our wonderful vendors have a little bit of everything for you and we’re excited to have the Powhatan 4-H Youth Market vendors back with us too, so text a friend and plan to come on out. See you soon!
