Saturday, September 5th is the LAST DAY local seniors can register for Maine's SENIOR FARM SHARE PROGRAM!

This program provides $50 farm share vouchers to purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, cut herbs, and honey from ANY of the farmer vendors at the Presque Isle Farmers' Market!!

Registration is EASY! If you're a Maine resident who's 60+, bring your photo ID to the INFO BOOTH to participate between 8:30-12:30 pm.

What did you create with your farmer market haul yesterday? I made potato leek soup. Leeks from Angelus Bell Farm, potatoes from Farmer Brown, bacon and lovage from Chops Ahoy Farm. Delicious and such a filling lunch!

Yes I’ll be at the Presque Isle Farmers' Market tomorrow! Been a crazy week and sour dough English muffins are baking now. It is Crown of Maine Balloon Festival weekend! 8:30-12:30 pm
