It's this Saturday! Coops to Co-ops at 31140 Peggy Neck Rd., Princess Anne from 10-2! We can't wait to see you! Along with all of our delightful vendors, we will showcase Frank McElhaney of Frank’s Woodturning having his woodturning class. Prices vary, but you can make a beautiful wooden pen, a child's top, or a lovely bowl! Also, Cynthia of Blooming Brushes will be doing facepainting during the day, prices vary, and Michael will have a rocket-building class, with a rocket launch! So come see us and have a GREAT day, shop our vendors, take part in our classes, get your face painted, and enjoy a yummy vegan lunch prepared by Janet! Tori Barmoy, Gwendolyn Supplee, Vicki Ferguson, Wendy Picken Helmuth, Megan Coffey, Jan Lewis, Kathy Beauchamp, and Alix Sun, welcome to our page, and our Community! You may have heard, our next Market Day is Saturday, June 6th from 10-2! We are open the 1st Saturday of each month from May-October, then the 2nd Saturday of November at 31140 Peggy Neck Rd., Princess Anne, Md.! Just 5 minutes South of 'How Sweet It Is' in Eden, Md.! We offer many vendors with hand-made Artisan items, with home-grown honey by Thom Babcock, fresh produce by various vendors, flowers and plants by Ivy of The Jungle Emporium, and mini-events during each day, such as Michael, (rocket man) with a demonstration of how to build rockets and launch them this next Market Day, and usually live music! The atmosphere is bucolic and very welcoming, and the co-owner, Janet, prepares a complimentary vegan homemade lunch for everyone! Wow! Guess what I just found out!? Michael (rocket man) will be coming to Coops on Saturday, June 6th sometime between 10-2! He will be showing kids and adults how to build a rocket and launch it!!! How cool is that!? So, in addition to our wonderful vendors, you can build a rocket, and Frank McElhaney of Frank’s Woodturning will have his class on woodturning a pen, a child's top, or a bowl (10" maximum)! Prices vary. Also, Cynthia of Blooming Brushes will be there facepainting! She will have prices there. So, come to Coops to see what surprises happen at Coops on Saturday, June 6th from 10-2! Saturday, June 6th, Coops will be open again from 10-2! We look forward every month to seeing you; we miss you starting at the end of the previous Market Day! So, come see us all, shop the vendors, enjoy the atmosphere, and Frank McElhaney of Frank’s Woodturning will have his woodturning class, prices vary, but you can learn how to make your own pen, a child's top, or a beautiful bowl(10" maximum)! Also, Cynthia of Blooming Brushes will be there to do face painting! This is her 1st time here, so line up for face painting! She will let you know that day what her prices are. On Saturday, June 6th, we will have our next Market Day at Coops! We are already looking forward to good weather, because we are done with cold, nasty, wet weather! But anyway...haha! At Coops, we encourage learning, and already, Janet has had basket weaving classes, and we had a wonderful time! Jars And Gems Shop has scheduled a love jar class, Janet led a Wild Edible Plant Walk last month, and Frank McElhaney of Frank’s Woodturning will be leading his woodturning class, where you can learn how to make a beautiful bowl, (maximum 10"), a gorgeous pen, or an old-fashioned top or brass top. Prices vary. Also, this time, Cynthia of Blooming Brushes will be there to do face painting; children and adults! We can't wait to see what Cynthia can do! While you are there, shop our unique vendors, have a delicious vegan lunch prepared by Janet, enjoy the beautiful weather and countryside, and let your kids romp and play! See you there! Hi, looking forward to seeing everyone at Coops to Co-ops on our next Market Day, Saturday, June 6th from 10-2! We have some new vendors, such as Cynthia, our face-painter, who will be there for the 1st time! She can paint children and adults, prices vary, and Frank McElhaney is having a woodturning class, also!As stated before, for customers, the Woodturning class will be held between 10:00 and 2:00, and any VENDOR who would like to have a class, this will be held between 8:00 and 10:00! If, sometime during the day Frank does not have any customers learning, a vendor can fill in. Come and enjoy the beautiful weather, shop our vendors, have a pre-lunch snack, and then a delicious vegan lunch is prepared by Janet for you to enjoy, free of charge! After our next Market Day of Saturday, June 6th, we are open each 1st Saturday from June-October, and in November, a special day, 2nd Saturday, November 14th, is set up for our last Artisans Market Day of the season! On June 6th, here are the prices for the class: He will be bringing blanks to make your own bowl (10" maximum) for $30.00! I apologize for my error on the price for the bowl. It is $30.00, but I had a typo and put 20. Also, he will be bringing blanks of different species for pen turning for $25.00, for making a beautiful pizza cutter, $30.00, a whistle for $10.00, old-fashioned spin top for $10.00, and a brass spin top for $20.00! So, doesn't that sound great!? Imagine eating cereal or ice cream out of a bowl you create yourself! If any vendors are interested, we could do that on a different day, so let us know if you are interested! So, mark your calendars, and make plans to spend your Saturdays with us! Thank you, Frank! Price will be discussed that day, so while you are shopping our vendors, take a few minutes to get your face painted, both children and adults! Bruce Smith has brought produce and plants, Ivy has plants, and more fresh, home grown plants are arriving as the weather warms, and we have a special surprise coming if things work out! Hi, fellow Coops to Co-ops followers! This is an update of the Woodturning class that Frank McElhaney is having on June 6th!
