Strawberry Fields of Kendall prides itself with supplying South Florida with the highest quality fruits and vegetables. With alot of work, irrigation and help from Mother Nature, we try hard to bring quality strawberries, tomatoes, peppers, herbs, flowers and so much more. Strawberry Fields of Kendall offer the convenience of having all the items you need already picked for you that day should tim

e not permit you to pick them yourself. All of our items are picked each morning and delivered to the farm for the maximum quality possible. We can accommodate anything from small family necesities, to larger restaurant needs. ❄️🌾 What you’re seeing in the fields this morning, and why it matters 🌾❄️

Last night brought unusually cold temperatures for South Florida, and when a possible freeze is in the forecast, farms don’t sleep, we protect 🌱💪

Those boxes and covers you’re seeing across the fields are part of our freeze-protection process, especially for delicate crops like strawberries. 🍓
They help trap ground warmth, shield young plants, and reduce cold stress during overnight drops in temperature.

🌱 Why we do this:
• To protect blossoms and developing fruit
• To keep plants healthy long-term
• To make sure strawberry season continues strong

Colder weather can actually mean better berries — sweeter, firmer, and happier plants — as long as they’re protected properly 🍓✨

Farming is part science, part experience, and a whole lot of early mornings and late nights. Thank you for appreciating the work that happens long before the gates open. 💛🌾
