We are deeply saddened to share that on December 3, 2025, our beloved founder, Antonio “Tony” DiCicco, peacefully passed away at home, surrounded by his loved ones.

Those who knew Tony would remember him as charismatic, generous, relentlessly hardworking, and deeply devoted. At just 19, he took a leap of faith, leaving Italy—his cherished home and family—in pursuit of a better life and the American Dream.

With his wife, Gina, he built that dream from the ground up. Working days, studying English at night, and pouring everything into his future, he turned a small deli on Federal Hill into something much greater. With pride in his roots, Tony brought the finest Italian products, traditions, and flavors from his homeland to Rhode Island, sharing a piece of Italy with the community he loved. He was endlessly grateful for his business, treating customers like family and always sharing an espresso and good conversation with whoever walked through the door.

Because of him, our family was given the life he promised, and Federal Hill was forever better for it. His legacy lives on through our grandmother, our family, and every table gathered with good food and love. 🤍🇮🇹

His Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 10th at 11 am at St. Mary’s Church. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are Tuesday, December 9th from 4pm to 8pm at the Nardolillo Funeral Home in Cranston. See his obituary for more details.
