Friday check-in: tomorrow’s plans should include coffee, local food and buying something wonderful from the person who made it.

PMoM is proud to be a home for entrepreneurs, the people who turn recipes, ideas, skills and late-night creative experiments into real businesses. Their energy keeps this market growing, and Saturday’s lineup is a good one:

This is happening right now, and yes, it sounds as good as it looks.

Award-winning singer-songwriter Hilary Scott is live at Pullman Market on Main with AJ Gennaro, filling Kamiaken Street with folk, rock, blues, country and soul until 1 p.m.

If you’re still deciding what to do with your Saturday, we have live music, local vendors, great food and coffee waiting downtown. That feels less like a decision and more like directions.

Come hear Hilary live before the last note:

Small shoppers. Real choices. Five whole dollars of purchasing power.

A huge thank-you to Cougar Ridge Apartments for generously sponsoring Kids Market Bucks at this Saturday’s Pullman Market on Main.

Kids ages 5–13 can receive a $5 coupon to spend just like real money with participating market vendors. They get to explore the booths, make their own decisions and discover what it means to support a local maker, grower or small business.

It may look like five dollars, but it creates confidence, connection and some very serious market negotiations. It also puts money directly into the hands of our vendors.

Programs like this only happen when community partners step up. Thank you, Cougar Ridge Apartments, for investing in Pullman’s youngest shoppers and making the market more welcoming, educational and fun.

Saturday’s market has a soundtrack, and a very full shopping list.

Lucas Bastos gets things started from 9–11 a.m., followed by award-winning singer-songwriter Hilary Scott from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. Two musicians, four hours of live music and absolutely no awkward playlist transitions.

This week’s vendor lineup:

Cougar Ridge Apartments
Little Shop of Serendipity
And possibly Michelle, depending on work, which is annoyingly reasonable.

Come for the music, stay for the coffee, food, produce, handmade goods and the increasingly real possibility that you’ll leave carrying more than you planned.

Saturday morning is about to sound considerably better.

Award-winning singer-songwriter Hilary Scott is performing at Pullman Market on Main this Saturday, bringing her blend of folk, rock, blues, country and soul to downtown Pullman. Acclaimed pianist Lucas Bastos kicks off the event!

Hilary is a nationally and internationally touring musician, accomplished multi-instrumentalist and genuine Palouse talent. Also, that’s Hilary with one L, not the Lady A one. We checked.

Come hear some exceptional live music while shopping from local makers, growers, bakers and small businesses. It’s a much better Saturday plan than wandering around wondering what to do.

Well, look at Pullman Market on Main at Lentil Fest Friday making the news.

Thank you to The Daily Evergreen reporter Daman Khalid and photographer Lily Brown for capturing what made the evening so special: local vendors, new entrepreneurs, WSU students and the Pullman community all showing up for small businesses.

We’re proud to have partnered with Downtown Pullman Association to bring big Friday night energy downtown, and we’re already excited about what this community-led event can become.

Your Friday night plans: handled.

Lentil Fest Friday is happening today from 3–9 p.m. at Kamiaken and Olsen Street, and Pullman Market on Main is showing up with nearly 40 local makers, growers, bakers, artists, food vendors and community organizations.

There will be live music, food, a beer garden and enough locally made goods to put your impulse-control skills through a meaningful test.

Kids ages 5–13 can also pick up $5 in Kids Market Bucks to spend like real money with participating vendors, thanks to this week’s generous sponsor, Muse on Main .

Lentil Fest Friday is presented in conjunction with Downtown Pullman Association and is an event leading into Saturday’s National Lentil Festival.

Come downtown, shop local and start the weekend properly. Your couch will understand.

Kids have excellent taste. They just don’t generally have much purchasing power.

Thanks to this week’s Kids Market Bucks sponsor, Muse on Main, kids ages 5–13 can receive a $5 coupon to spend with participating vendors at our special Lentil Fest Friday market. It works just like real money, which means the kids get to choose, shop and support a local business all by themselves.

Kids Market Bucks are one of our favorite parts of Pullman Market on Main, and they’re only possible because local organizations and businesses step up to support them.

A big thank-you to Muse on Main for investing in our youngest shoppers and helping make Friday’s market even more fun.

Join us Friday, August 21, from 3–9 p.m. at Kamiaken and Olsen Street for Lentil Fest Friday, presented in conjunction with Downtown Pullman
