NOW its officially soup season!! (Now that its no longer august). We still have a good amount of bones left for making soups and stews this fall and winter. We also have roasts, chops, ground. We're open 10-3 today, stop by and see us if you're headed to or from the woodstock fair.

Good Morning folks! We're here at Blackbird Farm from 10-2 today. Its coming up on soup and stew season and we're loaded up on bones. Come grab em while we got em and get ready to make some stocks and soups.

Unfortunately our store will be closed today. Our daughter is in the rude dog boxing demo at Brooklyn Fair today from 11-11:45. Check her out if you're there, she's 4 and the only girl in her class.

I wanted to take a minute to highlight our center cut goat steaks. We like to just season it with just salt and a little black pepper so you can really taste the meat and it's not hidden under layers of other flavors from herbs and seasonings. Once you season them these cook up great on the grill or, you can cook it the way I did. I seared it in a cast iron pan and rendered off some of that white fat cap and I butter basted it to get a nice crust on the steak and finished in the oven. Don't forget to let it rest once it's finished cooking!!

We've got plenty of these steaks in goat or lamb if you want to cook some up for yourself! And remember, we're not just here on the weekend, you can come shop during the week as well!! Just call or text ahead to be sure we're here and we will open up for you.

**Farm store will have a delayed opening, Mrs. Wyld Goat Farm is bringing one of the goats to the vet and will open when she gets back**

Come see us today at Blackbird Farm in Smithfield or at our farm store. Our store is open. 10-3 and I'll be at Blackbird until 2. We've got a variety of lamb and goat cuts, ground lamb and goat, bones, and our whole chickens. We have our goat milk soaps also. Our newest scents are available today, cucumber melon, and cedar.

Good morning! We're open now till 3. We've got plenty of ground lamb to make delicious lamb burgers on the grill while you enjoy these last few weeks of summer. We have rack of lamb and goat, lamb and goat chops, roasts, we have our whole chickens too. Try our goat milk soaps too, our new scent orange & Thyme has become quite popular, and our new scents, cedar, and cucumber melon should be ready for next week.
