Putney Farmers' Market The 2025 Summer Farmers Market will be held
May 11th through October 19th, 11-3PM

Established in 2010, the Putney Farmers' Market reflects the uniqueness of Southern Vermont and small town living. We provide a viable outlet for local entrepreneurs, and serve as an incubator for start-up businesses. We give our community a place to gather every Sunday during the growing season, and offer live music, special events, great food, art and adornments, with local agriculture at the center of all we do.

Gratitude post for our market farmers who show up every weekend to feed the community. We’re so incredibly grateful for our farmers who bring everything from pasture raised meats, organic eggs, herbs, fruits and veggies, gourmet mushrooms, local honey, raw milk, and even chicken broth!

Supporting these local farms has so many positive impacts. Buying directly from farms allows farmers to get a better price for their products, strengthens our local food systems, and is the best way to get delicious, fresh, high quality ingredients into your meals.

We’ve been having a great market so far this summer, and we want to thank everyone who shows up to support our local farmers and producers. Whether you’re a resident of Putney or one of the surrounding towns or someone just passing through, we’re so grateful for all of your support! We love bringing farmers together with the people they feed, connecting our community directly back to their food systems and strengthening our community resilience. Thank you for showing up and being part of this important system!

Come out this Sunday, we’ll have fresh corn from Dwight Miller Orchards, fresh chicken from Leaping Bear Farm and live music from The Woodpeckers.
