We’re always looking for fresh, exciting content to include in our seasonal newsletter, and we want to showcase your voice. This space is for our community, so if you’ve got something to share, don’t hesitate to submit it by emailing [email protected]!

Here's what we're looking for:
🗞️ Food News: informational articles, podcasts or videos related to food or food cooperatives
🎨 Podcasts, Poetry, Artwork, Writing: more creative content related to food or food cooperatives. This could be something you have created!
🥙 Recipe Share: Do you have a favorite summer recipe? Please share it!
📣 Queens Allies’ Events/News: Are you part of another Queens community group or organization? Do you have news or events to share? Send your flyer, blurb, link, etc our way for inclusion in our June 20th newsletter.
🚨 Submissions are due no later than June 14th. Depending on how many submissions we receive, we may not be able to include everything. But we'll do our best!

Thanks to everyone who came out to eat and meet with us, pictured and not pictured, a couple of weeks ago! It was energizing to spend time together and plan for the future. We always need more help! Join us Friday, April 10th from 6:30-8:30pm for a General Meeting and Potluck at , located at 82-11 37th Ave, Jackson Heights, NY 11372. Bring a dish and break bread with your Queens neighbors while learning about all the exciting new developments of WQFC and how you can get involved.
Please register so we know who is coming and what you are bringing. Registering in advance is required due to security at Apicha, however, bringing a dish is not!

We had a great day last Saturday during our final grocery-giveaway, making food art and talking about our buying club and mobile food co-op. Thanks to all the residents of Elmhurst who stopped to chat and make art with us! And thanks again to for the fresh produce, and for the grant to support this needed work!

Thanks to everyone who came out last Saturday to Rafferty Triangle. We loved sharing free fresh produce, candy, buttons, food art, information about our buying club and co-op, as well as fun conversations with y'all!
