As an ambitious community minded company dedicated to providing time, resources, and heart to feed people, and support local farmers our mission is to facilitate sourcing of local farm goods, payment, storage, handling, preparation, education, and distribution for local farms to local consumers in North Carolina. Provide solutions to many of the common problems such as managing payment types, delivery logistics, and marketing that detract from the farmers ability to market, coordinate, and deliver their goods. Make it easy for consumers to easily source local produce and goods as well as simplify payment, and delivery as necessary. Facilitate low pest organic growth by supporting growers in this area of expertise. Educating the customer base on various local products available as well as how to safely prepare, store, handle and consume them. Continue to expand our existing locally sourced vendors for meat, cheese, produce, seafood and goods. Provide competitive costs to ensure as many people can be fed quality locally sourced goods as possible. ABOUT
Scott Zyvonoski : Scott brings years of life experiences including 25 years of culinary and restaurant design, as well as 7 years experience as a Chef. After surviving many challenges in life Scott understands people often need help due to life circumstances. Scott genuinely wants to make a positive difference and Gotta-B-Scotties is the culmination of that idea. Raised in a time where food was scarce, it is Scotts passion to help bring quality local food to people to support both good health and habits, as well as local farmers. Scotts personal belief is that no matter where people are in the storm of life we are in the same ocean, and he strives to be the lighthouse that helps guide people. Scott loves talking, and sharing with others, and has experience teaching skills such as cooking, food preparation and safety.
