“Pupusas are a beloved Salvadoran dish made of a thick corn tortilla and stuffed with cheese and other savory fillings such as beans, squash, or pork. They are traditionally served with Curtido (cabbage) and salsa roja but, they also pair really well with other veggies.
The corn provides a good source of complex carbohydrates to fuel your body and fiber to support healthy digestion, while the veggies provide essential vitamins and minerals to maintain good health.
To build a delicious and balanced plate choose your favorite pupusa and pair it with a hearty portion of curtido + your favorite veggies.”
