We are all part of building our community. Come to our October 17 and have your students take part in Andre Johnson Architect's Architecture Design Challenge.
It's students from grades K - 12 chance to design a community grocery store and garden, like the future Fertile Ground Food Co-op grocery store.

In this clip, Dr. Ajamu stresses the important role black churches played in supporting The Wake Consumers Mutual Association Inc.

This black-led co-op in the 1940s and 50s paved the way for our co-op, Fertile Ground Food Co-op.

Dr. Ajamu then encourages black churches to continue supporting co-ops, much like Southeast Raleigh Table does so generously.
