We had FUN! Thanks to everyone who stopped by last weekend. I was approached many times with the “glad you’re open again” felicitations. We were in town for the weekend and now we’re gone again. We’re having fun and wish you fun this weekend too!
(Sacrilegious to drink wine outta plastic, I know. But we like this sweet bubbly stuff.)

What a beautiful weekend for wine tasting! We’ll be opening again soon. So in the meantime, I can happily recommend some of our friends. I occasionally drink some, so this isn’t a comprehensive list of the good stuff in the valley. But it is a good showing. These are winners!

Want to be a hero this Thanksgiving?
Cook up some Shakshuka!
You’re welcome…
Ingredients:
1 can of stewed tomatoes
1 can of tomato sauce
1 red bell pepper - sliced small
6 cloves of garlic - chopped
1/2 yellow onion - sliced small
6 to 10 eggs
Directions:
In large covered saucepan, saute garlic & onion in butter until a bit charred
Stir in tomatoes/sauce & peppers and bring to boil to thicken
Add good dashes of coriander, cumin, red pepper flakes, italian seasoning and salt to taste
Crack eggs into spooned crevices on top of thickened sauce
Cover and cook until eggs are to temp. (Approx. 10mins)
Serve with garlic toast!
ENJOY!
