Matt's Melons We offer the world famous "Woonsocket" melons along with sweet corn grown on our farm, garden produce from several Hutterite colonies and ALWAYS fresh.

We carry Woonsocket watermelon, muskmelon and pumpkins. We get tomatoes, potatoes, onions, cucumbers, beans, parsnips and beats while in season and also carry some seasonal fruits such as peaches, cherries, and apples if the season allows. We also offer some of the best sweet corn around, grown on the family farm!! This will be our third year located on the Central States Fairgrounds on Campbell s

treet south of K-Mart. For the second year we will also have a stand on Omaha street just east of Mckie Ford a couple blocks. The Omaha street stand will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and the Fairground stand will be open daily. If we arent open its either because of weather or we are temporarily out of produce. Wednesdays from 4 to 7 we are located at the entrance of the Rec Center out on Sheridan Lake Road.

I have a pallet of each left after yesterday's festival. Watermelon is $300 for about 60. Pink and blue Porcelain doll mixed box is $125, at least 40 of them. Pumkin bin is $175 for at least 35. Cinderella mix box is $100. We will do our "pallets of pumpkins" sale in a couple weeks. Thank you. And YES we will be back this Thursday with whatever we can.

Hello everyone. After raining all day here, and anther day of it tomorrow, we are gonna cancel for Tomorrow. Sorry. We will be downtown Saturday for the Pumpkin festival. We will have our fall stuff! Pumpkins, gourds, assortment of fall decor items. Also a few watermelon!!! I still plan on coming next week, weather permitting! Come say hello Saturday downtown!

Its not every year the watermelon run this long. We have a few pallets extra. If you would like to buy a pallett for your employees or family, get ahold of me on messenger. They average 45 watermelon or so in a bin. Ill be coming on Thursday, the 18th of September.

Good news!! We will be in town 1 more time on Thursday morning. We will have a little sweet corn, a few muskmelon and a good load of black diamond watermelon! Also some squash. ( butternut, buttercup, acorn)This will be our last trip of the season. We will be downtown on September 20th for the Annual pumpkin fest with our fall stuff. Mother nature has been good to us this week! The seedless watermelon are FINALLY up to par and take my word for it, it was worth the wait!! We'll have seeded as well. The way the weather is cooling down , i wont guarentee a trip next week. Tell your friends, family, and neighbors this may be the last of the season. Watermelon start at $7, muskmelon start at $5 and sweet corn is $7 a dozen! Thanks again everyone, see you Thursday morning at 8 a.m. Exit 58. The old SHOPKO parking lot.

We will be back in the morning with just a few watermelon and muskmelon left and a little sweet corn. Also have 3 bushel of canning tomatoes left for $75 a bushel. If you asked about freezer corn, tomorrow would be a good day for it. Thanks again for being patient and thank you for all the treats!! The kids deserve it!!
