Vendor Highlight: Plot to Pot
South Carolina transplant, Angie Cason, created Plot To Pot in 2017 to share her passion for food and showcase her culinary talents. It started as a small batch cannery which now includes a small, sustainable farm located just south of Charleston, in Ravenel. Cannery items include traditional Southern favorites with a little modern flare featuring seasonal, locally sourced produce. Much of the produce used in her cannery comes directly from her farm. In recent years the business has exceeded her growing capacity, so she now partners with other South Carolina Certified Farms to supply the products needed.

You can find her at our Ravenel Depot Farmers Market June-December, April through October at the Bay Creek Park Market on Edisto Beach, and events throughout the Lowcountry.

Her most popular items are now available at Big Kick Coffee Roasters downtown, Caw Caw County Park gift shop in Ravenel, and Fields Market on Johns Island, SC.

She will be with us on June 20th at our market so come out and get a taste of the Low Country!

Meet Paige, who's been serving up a Lowcountry favorite since 2022. Fresh, slow-cooked boiled peanuts with bold Southern flavor. The inspiration behind Holy City Boiled Peanuts began years ago while working alongside her lifelong best friend under her mother, who was known for selling some of the best boiled peanuts to people all across the Lowcountry. What started as a cherished Southern tradition shared with family and friends eventually grew into a passion for carrying on that same sense of community, hospitality, and authentic Lowcountry flavor. Today, Paige serves fresh jumbo peanuts cooked in small batches, featuring favorites like the classic Original recipe and signature Lowcountry Heat flavor at local markets, festivals, weddings, and community events.

Thank you to everybody who came to our Farmers Market on saturday. Our farmers were in full swing with loads of great fresh produce. And our craft Artisans had wonderful items to choose from. Thank you for supporting local and keeping your dollars in the community.

What's better than a Saturday at the Ravenel Depot Farmers Market? Meeting these lovable pups, of course. We've got two bouncy puppies from Lakeside Animal Rescue (available between 9:30 and 11:00) and a relaxed older dog from Hallie Hill, (for the entire market), all waiting to meet their fur-ever families. Come on out and see if you can find your perfect match.
