I’ve gotten a few questions lately about the best way to keep our bread fresh — especially those yummy loaves with fresh ingredients added in! 🫐🍓🍌🥖
Since our sourdough is made with no preservatives or fillers, our classic loaves are generally shelf stable for up to two weeks… if they last that long around your house. 😂
BUT when we add the good stuff — fresh blueberries, blackberries, bananas, garden ingredients, etc. — we’re also adding fresh food + extra moisture to that loaf, which means it needs a little extra TLC!
I asked my kids, “If you had fresh blueberries, how would you make them last longer?”
Without missing a beat:
Step 1: Put them in the fridge.
Step 2: Freeze them.
And there you have it. 😂 From the mouths of babes!
That’s exactly what we recommend for our fresh add-in breads. Keep them in the fridge once you get home, or slice + freeze them if you want to enjoy them later. A quick toast and they’re right back to delicious. 🙌
Real ingredients. No preservatives. Fresh from our kitchen to yours. ❤️
And as always, keep the questions and feedback coming — we appreciate it more than you know!
