After a few weeks of intake, we are full again, folks. We have taken as much as our backup storage can handle. We do apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you to everyone for your preference.

Another 845lbs ready this week to be distributed to help fight food insecurity right here in pur RGV and Coastal Bend Community! Thats over 1500 lbs in 2 weeks!

January's Wild Game Donation Meat will be on the way to the Food Bank RGV INC this week! Over 720LBS was yielded from all of the generously donated animals in this round. And there is more to come!

This ground meat will be distributed to directly assist families right here in our RGV and Coastal Bend Community!

A special thank you to Corpus Christi Fish For Life, a wonderful organization with whom we partner, for continuing to sponsor this effort! And also in partnership with the RGV Hunters for Hungry Program run by the RGV Food Bank for facilitating and coordinating this donation.

Our Mitchell's Smokehouse Raymondville location will be CLOSED ON MONDAY JAN 26TH.

We plan to assess and update you on our intake status by Friday 01/30, as we are still unable to accept wild game drop offs at this time. Our overflow storage is at capacity.

Hunters 🎯 We suggest that you please quarter and freeze any wild game if you choose to wait for us while we catch up and create more space.

Today Saturday 01/24 will be the last day we are able to accept wild game drop offs. Our back up storage is FULL and we need to temporarily PAUSE intake to give our crew a chance to catch up and make more space.

SUNDAY 01/25 - FRIDAY 01/30 we will not be able to accept any new game intake

🎯Hunters: We suggest that you quarter and freeze any wild game if you choose to wait for us to reopen when we have more room.

We will be posting updates as soon as we can reassess our cold storage situation at the end of next week. Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
