High in Vitamin C, Cauliflower is the perfect vegetable to add to your diet. Getting its name from the Latin word “cavolfiore” (meaning cabbage flower), cauliflower it’s great for roasting, steaming, and can even be used as a replacement for rice!!! 🫑🌶️Today’s fun fact is about… Shish*to Peppers!!! The name shish*to is derived from the Japanese word “shishi” meaning “lion”. FUN FACT FRIDAY!!! 🍅🍅 Today’s fun fact is… In order for a tomato to qualify as an “heirloom” it must follow 2 rules. The first being, the seeds must be from a variety of tomato that has been passed down for AT LEAST 50 years! Secondly, the tomato plants must be open-pollinated. This means that the plants can only be pollinated by birds, bees, insects, or in some cases, the wind!
