Please. I beg of you to turn a blind eye to the terrible photography and focus instead on this moist, delicious red velvet cake from the woman I love to stalk, Sally's Baking Addiction. After devouring some crab towers (compliments of the man of the house), we enjoyed a slab...er, modest slice, of this.

Sorry for the late notice, but I'm taking a few Valentine's Day orders that will be ready for pick up on Thursday, Feb. 12th. I'm making the hearts and cupcakes you see in the pictures below but the designs may be a bit different. They will be vanilla cookies, individually wrapped for $4/each. It's really snowy up here in the northeast, which means there is a line for the oven. The oatmeal scones from the America's Test Kitchen cook book. You have it, right? It's so good for a billion reasons - recipes, equipment reviews, scientific explanations, etc. The pretzels are from one of the bloggers I stalk....er, read, Sally's Baking Addiction. I made her cheesy dipping sauce to serve with the pretzels to round out a snow day lunch for the kids. (I gave them fruit, too. I mean, I haven't completely lost my mind. Yet.)
