Happy first day of school to all the kiddos heading back today! ✏️
We hope they all have an amazing day and an even better school year!

We have a freshman this year 🫣 and a 5th grader, which honestly feels impossible!
And we are heading into our 5th year of homeschooling Hudson, and I truly wouldn’t have it any other way. Maybe someday I’ll be ready to let him return to school, but for now… I’m just not ready to share him. 🥹

Whether your kiddos are heading off to school, being homeschooled, or somewhere in between, we hope this year is a great one for all of you!

We spent Sunday Funday in the sun and came home to the sweetest little gift and note from a customer. 🥹

It is so refreshing when someone takes a moment to notice the work you put in. We really do have the best customers, and I’m not even exaggerating.

These little moments are what fuel us when we’re getting tired and burnt out. They seem to come right when you need them most…….just enough of a little boost to remind you why you started, how much this little business means, and to keep going.

So, a big thank you to Ken & Kim and to all of you who leave us little notes in our notebook. It means more than you probably realize. 🤎

We appreciate you all more than we could ever put into words. 🫶🏻

Keeping right on with tradition! 🏁 It’s Classic Weekend at Oswego Speedway, and that’s where you’ll find us for the day!

All summer long, we try to make it to every Saturday night race. It’s honestly one of the things I look forward to most each weekend…….a chance to slow down, cheer from the stands, and take a much needed break from the Farmstand hustle.

We have a family friend who races, and over the years we’ve also gotten to watch some of our own local teens take to the track every weekend. It has been SO much fun watching them grow, compete, and chase something they love.

So today, we’re trading flour and sourdough for race cars, family time, and a little bit of speed. 😉

I got the BEST surprise today, and it was such a much-needed little burst of brightness in my week.

It’s been such a long summer with next to no days off, and this week has been especially GO, GO, GO with school clothes, school supplies, haircuts, running kids everywhere, and trying to get everyone (and myself 😂) ready for a new school year.

So this surprise came at exactly the right time.
Sometimes you don’t realize just how much you need a little unexpected kindness until it shows up at your doorstep.

Feeling extra grateful today. 🤎
