Make your market shopping even easier!

Order your meat from First Fruits Sustainable Farms before you even get to the market. 🥩

They raise grass-fed and finished beef, heritage pork, and pastured chicken, and you can shop their selection online ahead of time and choose Riverside Farmers Market as your Sunday pickup location.

Just remember to place your order by the Friday cutoff for Sunday pickup!

And while you’re there, stock up on their seasonal offerings, including:

🥔 Potatoes
🎃 Pumpkins
🍝 Spaghetti squash

We’re excited to offer mini composting & waste reduction training sessions at the Riverside Farmers Market! ♻️

Our Food Scrap Drop-Off booth, sponsored by Washoe County and the City of Reno , is partnering with Keep Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful and All Points West Consulting to bring our community simple, practical ways to reduce waste and make the most of what we already have.

Stop by the Food Scrap Drop-Off booth to learn more, ask questions, and pick up some tips you can take home with you.

Elderberries have a long history of traditional use for colds and flu.

Have you tried squash blossoms?

These delicate flowers are a short-season summer treat and they’re delicious!

Try them:
- In quesadillas
- Stuffed with cheese and lightly fried
- Sautéed with garlic & olive oil
- Added to pizza or pasta
- Folded into an omelet or frittata
- Grilled or roasted

They’re one of those seasonal goodies you have to grab when you see them!
