The Rensselaer Farmers Market at Riverfront Park has ended for the 2025 season. During the first season under the new management of the Rensselaer City Clerk’s office, we have worked hard to bring in farmers, vendors and events to ensure a successful season. We are grateful for your patronage this season and hope you return to support it in 2026.
We would like to take this time to thank the many outstanding participants who made Market possible. Your participation in our inaugural year was truly a leap of faith, and we want to express our gratitude to you for believing in us.

We’ve had many volunteers these past 14 weeks to assist with events that we would like to thank.

Michelle Morin voluntarily assisted by making numerous phone calls, sending many emails and contacting vendors, farmers and musicians to help get the market started; thank you.
We appreciate everything that our own Planning Department, DPW, Fire and Police Departments did to help us out and we thank the Common Council for allowing the Clerk to start and manage the Market. We know that our Market depends on all of us working together and working together we did. Thank you all so much, you all helped make our inaugural Farmers Market a Success!!

What would a Farmers Market be without music! Joe Madeline, Colin McCarthy, Fred Gillen, Jr., Retro Hillbillies, 3 Minute Pop, DJ Shapiro, Tapestry and John DiBlasi were all awesome and we enjoyed your music each week.
Many thanks to all who showed up to browse, participate in special events and shop. We are so happy you stopped in and hope that you all had a good time and are happy with your purchases.
