We are super excited to be popping up at our favorite place this Saturday…the Vischer Ferry General Store!

It was a long, cold winter, but we used the time to create some new pieces and new glaze combinations that we hope you’ll love as much as we do.

Stop in Saturday from 9-3pm for a coffee and a scone, and visit us on the back porch for a handmade planter…for your mom, a special friend, or for yourself!

We had a fabulous day at the Saratoga City Center this past Saturday! It was our 3rd year participating, and our best one yet! Thank You! Thank You!

It was heartwarming to see so many familiar faces, chatting about which planters they have, and adding to their collection! There are a lot of green thumbs out there too!!

Thank you all for your continued support and kind words for our creations. We have grown so much since we began this adventure together 3 years ago. Sarah is a great teacher...I think I might be loving my time working with pottery as much as plants. (well almost)
But...doing this together is truly a blessing and one I am most thankful for.

Reach out to us for your holiday gift giving. We have a small collection of planters, trees, vases & leaves to choose from. I've added a few photos of my favorites...they make the perfect gift for your favorite host or secret santa!

The kiln did not disappoint today…and just in time for our pop-up tomorrow at the Vischer Ferry General Store!

Our collection of vases is growing!

I make these by pouring slip, or liquid clay, into molds. When they are dry enough to open, they are cleaned & fired in the kiln. Then glazed & fired again.

My summer project has been learning and experimenting with glaze combinations. Most of these have multiple layers of different glazes.
It’s truly a science experiment and with temperatures of up to 2000 degrees…you never really know what the end result will be!

These vases make a beautiful home for houseplant cuttings that root, grow, and can live in water.
They are perfect for those of us who love all the benefits of having plants in our homes, like better air quality….but don’t have the green thumb!

We are excited to share these on Saturday at the Vischer Ferry General Store!

I realized today, when I was thinking about sharing photos of our fall maple leaves, that all of the leaves we press into clay come from someplace special to us.
Places that are part of our story...that have a personal connection.

These maple leaves come from a beautiful Norway Maple that's located at the entrance to the Tina Dailey Reading Garden, that I've been tending to, at Okte Elementary School. The garden is a special place in memory of a special teacher...

The Norway Maple is huge, and produces beautiful, burgandy leaves that are wider than they are long, up to 10 inches!
For those wondering how I reach them...I bring a ladder!! 🍁

They make perfect saucers for Sarah’s Pumpkin Planters, and beautiful bowls with coiled stems.
Thanks to Patti Krawiecki for inviting us to her farm again this year to pick leaves from her garden…we snacked on a few raspberries too!
