General farm laborer needed;
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS IS NOT A FULL TIME JOB AND I DO NOT NEED A QUOTE.
We are looking for a part time laborer. We normally work a couple days a week. The days and times are usually weather dependent. Outside work is a given so please dress accordingly. Although we will train as needed basic knowledge of farm equipment; tractor, chainsaw, air compressor, lawn mower, power mower, pumps, pole saws and other power tools is necessary. We have a petting zoo so a willingness to help train animals and get them ready to be around children is needed.

We are a working farm where good work ethics, respect and a willingness to work hard is required. We will work side by side in many cases, but you must be able to work independently after a job is given and take it to completion.
Dependable transportation and punctuality is a must.

Needed asap.
Pay is dependent on experience, discussed before starting and paid daily.
Due to working around the barn with animals, children and hay, we are a drug, alcohol and SMOKE FREE environment.

Mickey is a gentle yet proven Black Baldie bull. If you have been to our petting zoo you probably have seen him. He does well with other animals and people. As much as he is part of the family, we want to focus on the Highlands. Born in March 2024, he weighs about 750 pounds and stands about 45”. Although he is considered a miniature if he is bred with a full size heifer they will most likely be full size calf’s.

It’s been an awesome season. We got a bunch of great feedback and thank you for the wonderful ideas. Expect a lot of changes in the off season. We’ll keep all the things you love and add/improve along the way. We launched our YouTube channel today and will keep you posted throughout the off season.

Chance is making sure the bouncers are dry and ready for our friends. The weather is going to be great. This is our last weekend. Our end of the season special is if you buy two pumpkins ($10 any size) you can get a mum for free (while supplies last). Hope to see you today!

I wanted to introduce two of the Patch’s youngest working employees on this last weekend of this season. In between bottles and diapers Bodie is always ready to help Mimi and Papa anyway he can. (His little smiles just makes our day). Zackary loves to visit the petting zoo and manages the corn quarry. Both boys get Employees of the Patch award for this weekend. Help congratulate them by telling good job. Making young workers out them while we still can.
