The Richland Area Farmers' Market will be in downtown Richland Center on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3.

We are located at the large grassy area on the corner of Orange and Court Streets, across from Center Pharmacy on one side and Kwik Trip on the other.

Our hours this season will be 12:00-4:00pm
We will start promptly at 12 noon. No early sales.

**If these hours do not suit your schedule, please call or text the market manager at 608-213-3374 to see if some arrangement can be made to get products to you.

This year we continue as a high quality food/fresh flower market.

***This Wednesday we hope to have fresh salad greens, asparagus, micro-greens, rhubarb, cheeses, mushrooms, kohlrabi, spring onions, baked goods of all kinds (breads, scones, muffins, cakes, pies, bars), honey, maple syrup, maple products, jams and jellies, eggs, canned goods, flowers, bedding plants and houseplants.

We accept EBT/SNAP QUEST cards. Just bring your Quest Card to the Information Table. This year we will be distributing BONUS BUCKS every week, matching up to $20 extra for fruits and vegetables.
We also will continue the Youth Food Token Program (ages 4-17), and, don’t forget to bring your Boomerang Bags.

We have a new friend visiting and hiding in our farmers' market on Wednesdays. She is a friendly turtle named TUMBLE. She likes to hide anywhere within the market. Sometimes she hides in her shell; sometimes not.

* The Richland Area Farmers’ Market will open the 2026 season on WEDNESDAY MAY 13
at the large grassy area on the corner of Orange and Court Streets, across from Center Pharmacy on one side and Kwik Trip on the other.

**There is plenty of parking around this season’s location, with a Market parking entrance off of Jefferson Street, at the back of the market. Vendors will set up along the Court Street sidewalk, to provide for safe and accessible pedestrian traffic.

The Richland Area Farmers’ Market returns to town soon!
Our first market day will be Wednesday, May 13.

The vendors have spoken! At our annual planning meeting, the vendors voted for a change in market hours. We will continue to hold markets weekly on Wednesday afternoons, at the corner of Court and Orange Streets, across from Kwik Trip. However, this season the market hours will be from 12:00noon to 4:00pm. As in previous years, no early sales are permitted.

We continue to offer a food/flower-only market. We accept EBT/SNAP benefits, Senior Vouchers, and WIC funding. In addition, we will continue to offer our YOUTH TOKEN PROGRAM as well as our Boomerang Bag Program.

During the early weeks of the market we plan to offer bedding plants, herbs, salad greens, baked goods, breads, maple syrup, honey, cheese, eggs, mushrooms, microgreens and flowers.

Once again:

Dates: Wednesdays, May 13-October 14

Location: Large open field, corner of Court and Orange Streets
(across from Kwik Trip)

Hours: 12 noon to 4pm

Our market started the second week in May and ended the second week of October.

It was an absolute pleasure serving you for the summer season.

We want to thank all of our many customers, our vendors, our grant organizations (Compeer, Richland Medical Society, and, Rotary Club of Richland County), as well as WRCO Radio, the Richland Tourism Center and the various people and organizations who posted about the market on social media.

We had 21 lucky finders of our curious monkey, George. Week after week he was hiding in a pile of vegetables, fruits or baked goods. On our website (www.richlandareafarmersmarket.org), you can see all the photos of our George Finders. ​Also, on our website are photographs of the 2025 market and Tasting Table as well as photographs from many other markets going back to 2012.

We continued to have strong customer support throughout the market season and are grateful to our customers for showing up week after week!!!
