Hello everyone! my "Orchards in bloom" soap for valentine's day was a hit! β€οΈ now, as we enter lent and approach st patricks day, I have made another new soap for the holiday βοΈ βͺοΈ introducing: "Trinity Fields" - a meadow washed in holy light....this is an essential oil blend of sweet orange, frankincense, palmarosa, Cedarwood, vetiver, ho wood and a touch of geranium. The bright orange, geranium, and green-palmarosa recall the lively fields of spring, while frankincense, cedar, ho wood and vetiver fold the scent into the steadiness of chapel stone and earth. A beautiful combination to celebrate St. Patricks feast day.
We celebrate him for:
β’His missionary courage
β’His forgiveness of his enemies
β’His teaching of the Trinity
β’The spread of Christianity in Ireland.
If you do not know the history of St. Patrick, here is a brief overview I recently learned myself at church:
Patrick wasnβt Irish by birth. He was a Romano-British Christian who was kidnapped and enslaved in Ireland as a teenager. During captivity he deepened in prayer and faith. After escaping, he became a priest and eventually a bishop. he later returned to Ireland β not for revenge, but to preach Christ.
That act of forgiveness and missionary obedience is central to why heβs honored.
Patrick is traditionally associated with using the shamrock to explain the doctrine of the Trinity β three persons, one God. Which is why I decided to add the gold stamped Trinity Knot to my soap. π₯°
