Tomorrow, Saturday May 30th, is basket giveaway day at the market!
Our amazing vendors donate items from their farms, bakeries, and businesses to make an amazing basket of goodies YOU can win!
Simply make a purchase from a vendor & receive a ticket. Drop your ticket into the basket at the event tent with your name and phone number. We’ll call the winner at noon. Winner must pick up items by 1pm. The more vendors you purchase from, the greater your chance to win!
Join us Saturday from 9am-1pm at the corner of North 1st and Irvine in Richmond. Plus, we'll have live music from The PawPaws!

PSA: Customers can park in multiple areas downtown on Saturdays. City/county lots are open. Even lots that are reserved throughout the week for city/county employees, The only place you CAN NOT park is in the vendor area and any area utilized by law enforcement. This is a safety concern for our vendors and customers and IS NOT allowed. Please don't make us call a tow truck and ruin your Saturday.

The Madison county farmers market is open tomorrow rain or shine! Come out and see all the vendors. More and more fresh produce is making its way to the market as our more and more veggies come into season! Remember the market is open every Saturday from 9am to 1pm. We offer our signature menu items everywhere we go. But also offer a weekly special. This week? It's a melt in your mouth shaved Italian beef sandwich. Made from K&R Farm a 14 day dry aged beef roast! Served on a scratch made bun from Tulip Tree Homestead . It's delicious paired with mashed potatoes!

This young man is a new member of the market. At 18 years old, he is a talented blacksmith and offers his hand crafted products every Saturday! Stop in and say hello to Jason Moore at the Bluegrass Blades & Moore booth. It's awesome to see young adults participating in the market!

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there. We want to highlight one of our hard working mommas here at the market! Maria of Vargas Farms here in Richmond, KY.

You can always find Maria with her children at the market. Working their booth which offers beautiful produce and plants. In conversation with Maria this morning. She told us that just a few days after getting home from the hospital with their newborn child. There was no time to waste and she was back to work on the farm. Working in the field and the greenhouses alongside her family.

Fun fact, they hand pick the majority of their produce. Maria is the definition of a wonderful mother. Not only through love but through teaching her children the importance of family and hard work.
