Hello, friends, family, and dear neighbors! Tonight is our last Friday night tasting before we close up shop next Saturday, April 29th. So, we’re going out with a bang. Massimo from Vinea will be showing us through a massive tasting of beautiful and complex Italian wines:

A crisp and textured Pecorino

A soft but refreshing Grechetto

A floral forward Zibbibo from Sicily (a staff fav)

A mineral driven Grechetto Trebbiano Spoletino blend with saline crispness

A Corvina based Rosato with floral and citrus notes, taking inspiration from Provençe

A medium bodied, easy drinking Chianti

An elegant and smooth Valpolicella

Lastly, a soft but bold Cabernet Sauvignon from Suditrol near the Italian-Austrian border

Hello Friends, Family, Neighbors,

It is with heavy hearts that we must announce that Puck’s Market is closing. Our last day of operations will be Saturday, April 29th.

Since Dec 1, 2017, we have had the most amazing experience being your neighborhood gathering spot and purveyor of outstanding wines from around the world, craft beers, and tasty nibbles for your family.

The decision to close Puck’s was not easy, nor was it intended. We had originally planned to partner with a buyer interested in keeping Puck’s going, expanding our services, and generally making Puck’s bigger, better, and even more of a favorite spot in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, this partnership fell through.

As many of you know, I’m a working mother of 4 (my other job is tech and requires frequent travel), and now that my children are teenagers they need more from their working parents. Said simply – I just can’t do it all and provide the level of service and experience that I expect from myself to you all – our community. I hope you understand – you all have been the most fantastic customers turned friends. And for that I’ll always be grateful. With love - Amee.

A mineral driven and crisp Soave from Italy

A soft and beautiful Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley in France

A perfectly balanced Pinot Noir, with fruit and earth notes, from the Loire Valley in France

A bold and easy drinking Cabernet Sauvignon from the Colchuaga Valley in Chile

Lastly, an intense and balanced blend (Grenache and Syrah forward) from the Languedoc in France that has a touch of New World flare

An aromatic and lovely Sauvignon Blanc from the Touraine region in France

A bright and floral 100% Zweigelt Rose from Austria

A slightly smoky but medium bodied and fruit-forward 100% Pinotage from the Swartland in South Africa. We love this wine with barbecue!

For Friday night tasting, we are going a little crazy and showcasing 7 favorite wines from our regular stock! Matty from Salveto will be showing us through some Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish picks. Our lineup:

A Prosecco brut with fine bubbles and easy drinking acidity

A crisp Alvarinho with beautiful notes of salinity from Portugal

An aromatic and bright Malvar, a native grape to Spain

A refreshing but structured 100% Mencia Rose from Spain

A more beautifully rich and tannic Tempranillo based blend from Ribera del Duero in Spain

A smooth and bold red blend from the Dao in Portugal, made up largely of Touriga Nacional and Tempranillo

A Sangiovese based red wine from Italy with bold structure and wonderful notes of leather
