In loving memory of the lily Jean

It’s a hard life out there on the water. They were headed back in with a full catch when the temperatures changed too fast. Once the vents froze solid the seas took over. She went down roughly 25 miles outside of Gloucester. My home port. I have memories as a child sitting on the docks with my dad, sewing nets and getting boats ready he used to be gone for weeks at a time on the water. It’s because of where I come from and the pride of the industry, that made me want to retire out as a commercial Waterman here in the state of Maryland.
