Introducing Little Sprouts Market Adventure a FREE, hands-on food discovery experience created especially for children ages 2โ€“8.

Little Sprouts gives children an opportunity to explore the farmers market in a whole new way, learning about fresh food, connecting with local farmers, discovering healthy choices and having FUN while doing it.

And thereโ€™s something for the whole family. ๐Ÿ‘€

Children who complete their Little Sprouts Market Adventure will earn their family $25 in Family Basket Bucks to spend on fresh fruits, vegetables and bread right here at the market. ๐Ÿฅฌ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿฅ–

Ridgecrest summers are no joke, but we are incredibly grateful for the farmers who load their trucks, make the drive, set up their stands and continue showing up for our community every Saturday.

Farming doesnโ€™t stop because itโ€™s hot โ€” and neither does the work it takes to bring fresh, seasonal produce from the farm to our tables.

This week, our farmers brought in beautiful grapes, fresh guava, and ripe figs, and when theyโ€™re gone, theyโ€™re gone.

Thatโ€™s what makes shopping at a Certified Farmers Market different. Our farmers harvest what nature is ready to give, not whatโ€™s been sitting in storage for months.

Triple-digit heat didnโ€™t stop our community.

Our farmers were in the fields before sunrise. Our bakers were up long before dawn. Our vendors loaded their trucks, set up their booths, and welcomed every customer with a smile.

And you showed up.

You could have stayed home. You could have had groceries or lunch delivered. Instead, you chose to spend part of your Saturday supporting local farmers, bakers, artisans, and small businesses right here in Ridgecrest.

That choice matters.

Every purchase helps a family farm, a local baker, a small business owner, or an entrepreneur continue doing what they love.

We decided to close a little early today because of the heat, but we left this market with full hearts and deep gratitude.
