Meet Nathan, the maker behind Gus Chocolate!

Gus Chocolate is true bean-to-bar chocolate. Nathan starts with ethically sourced cacao beans from Belize and personally roasts, cracks, winnows, grinds, tempers, and pours each batch by hand.

The result is small-batch chocolate with bright, complex flavors that showcase the unique character of the cacao itself.

This Friday, stop by to explore a variety of handcrafted chocolate bars and discover the rich, complex flavors of true bean-to-bar chocolate.

If you've never experienced bean-to-bar chocolate before, this is your chance to discover something truly unique!

We completely understand that Fridays don't work for everyone.

That being said, many of our vendors attend multiple regional markets throughout the week and weekend. Those opportunities help them make a living while bringing fresh produce, local food, and handcrafted goods to communities across the Western Slope. For many of them, a Saturday or Sunday market in Ridgway would create conflicts with existing commitments.

While no day will work for everyone, we're grateful for the support our Friday market tradition has received over the years and will continue working to bring the best possible vendor lineup to Ridgway each week.

We truly hope to see you in the park whenever you're able to join us! 🌿

For decades, Wags World Orchards has been a beloved part of the Ridgway Farmers Market.

This year, a hard spring freeze resulted in the loss of their entire fruit crop. To support this longtime market family, they're bringing fruit from other Western Slope farms this season.

And thanks to this year's unusual weather, cherries have arrived early!

Be sure to stop by their booth this Friday, say hello, and support a local vendor who has been part of our market community for many years.

The goodies are starting to roll in!

Our first featured item is this beautiful Ouray County, Colorado blanket, generously donated by the Ouray County Sheriff's Posse.

This 50" x 60" polyester blanket features a stunning photograph of the San Juan Mountains by local photographer Gary Ratcliff of Ouray Images in Ridgway and is valued at $40.

It's the perfect companion for our Picnic in the Park themed market day on June 26!
