Gramma Sue’s Country Cupboard I’ve recently retired so have decided to start up a small self serve farm stand on my property.

I will not be opening my roadside stand this weekend because of the predicted weather. With Fridays temp of 87 and rain both Saturday and Sunday I didn’t want to bake and have everything go to waste. My stand does not have a roof or electricity so it’s hard when weather doesn’t cooperate. Hopefully next weekend will be better.

Gramma Sue’s is opened for business until at least 7 this evening.
All baked items will be 50% off today which includes chocolate banana muffins, mini chocolate zucchini loaves, and jalapeño cheddar cornbread. All other items are the normal price.

Gramma Sue’s Country Cupboard is opened for business after a few weeks of being closed.
I baked chocolate banana muffins, chocolate chip zucchini bread, and jalapeño cheddar cornbread for this weekend.
If you’re in the Riga-Blissfield area stop out for some homemade canned items or baked goods.

I will not be opening my roadside stand the following weekends due to my son coming home from Costa Rica with his family and then my youngest son getting married in Louisville over the 4th of July .

So closing down my little farm stand tonight I had a note in my little notebook that I keep out there from a little boy. I’m assuming it’s from the family that bought my Detroit Tigers lamp. Well the note said Arizona lamp NFL for Carter. 
So Carter I hope your parents see this and know that I will absolutely make you an Arizona Cardinals lamp but it’s gonna take at least a week or a week and a half.

Gramma Sue has opened her roadside stand for today. I’ll keep it opened till at least 7 possibly longer.
The shelves are stocked with a lot of homemade salsa, plenty of pickles, pickled veggies plus a variety of different jams.
Stop out for some homemade goodies if you’re in the Riga Blissfield area today.

Gramma Sue’s will not be open tomorrow. I normally do all my baking on Thursdays but with the high temps today and me not having central air in my small house I’ve opted to do all my baking Friday when it’s gonna be a little cooler and I will open the stand on Saturday and Sunday at 11. 
I’ll post a menu Friday to show what’s going to be on the stand on Saturday and Sunday.

There’s fresh canned black bean and corn salsa on the shelves today, I think it’s pretty spicy, but I’m sure my future son-in-law would say it’s not that hot Sue lol
