Aug 19 update

Sweet corn is doing well. Half done with the crop. Picking 274A and Serendipity.

Tomatoes are doing better. Should have a fair amount at markets.

Cucumbers are in their prime. Picking 60-70 pounds per day for your pickles.

Onions, potatoes, summer squash, zucchini, peppers all available.

Beans are tired and peas have blossoms for our fall crop.

Find us at Rigby, Rexburg and Idaho Falls farmers markets.

Signs, signs, signs and good produce.

Many have asked why our sign is not out and if we are open and available at the house. Here are the answers. Sign is broke and have not taken time to fix it. Yes we still sell from our home but hours are limited with our other jobs. Evenings tend to be a good time to “catch” us. Otherwise, call or text the home phone (208-538-6031) and we can set an appointment that will work for you.
Find us at the following markets: Rigby (Wednesday 4-5:30), Teton Valley (Friday 9-1), Rexburg (Friday 4-8) and Idaho Falls (Saturday 9-2).

Sweet corn is doing well and is now mature enough for canning or freezing purposes. Will finish the Temptress (Quadsweet) first of next week and then be into 274A (Supersweet). Serendipity is about a week away.

Tomatoes- we can find a few ripening each day so they will be showing up. Canning quantities 2 weeks.

Beans - get them sooner than later. Yellows done this week, greens on to last patch next week.

Cucumbers- harvesting daily and bringing in about 60 pounds each day. There are a few days harvest available next week.

Potatoes, onions, zucchini all continue to come.

Peppers can find a few.

Peas - next patch has blossoms but the heat has been hard on them.

Sweet Corn, Beans and Cucumbers

And we started picking sweet corn today for the Rigby Farmer's Market. Will be there from 4-5:30.

Green beans - started the second patch, for those who want to can, the next week is best availability.

Cucumbers- the picklers are on, come and get them.

Help wanted and Peas, beans, cucumbers and more.

July 22 Rigby market 4-5:30. Peas, beans, pickling and regular cucumbers, potatoes, onions, zucchini and beets. Jamie will bring me some fruit and there is a rumor of PEACHES coming.

Peas, potatoes, beets, carrots and garlic scapes. That is what I will bring to the Idaho Falls farmers market on Saturday June 20.

Jamie will have cherries, meat, cheese, honey, jam, salsa, Khorasan, Spelt, flour and few other items.

Come and see us from 9-2 on Saturday, corner of A street and Memorial Drive.

Today we are at the Idaho Falls farmers market with just a few things we were able to harvest this morning.

Also available today, potatoes, asparagus, rhubarb, apples, jams, salsa, ancient grains.

News from the farm.

Tomorrow Saturday May 2 the Idaho Falls Farmers market opens for the season and Jamie from our sister farm Food Dudes will be there! She has a bit of asparagus, red and russet potatoes, spelt and Khorosan, bread, honey and a few other items. She will also be able to answer questions you may have on the CSA for this year, yes you may still sign up.

May 8, Rexburg farmers market will start.

Planting is progressing, we are concerned about the available water in the canals this season, praying for moisture to come when and where it is needed.

We do have peas, carrots, beets, onions and garlic up and handling the recent frosts well. Much to plant over the next 4 weeks.

Thx for your support and look to see you when we start selling mid June.
