Riverside Food Cooperative

Riverside Food Cooperative Healthful local food for a stronger Riverside. WHO WE ARE. The Riverside Food Co-op is a not-for-profit member-owned, member-run grocer. WHY WE ARE. Cooperation.

As committed residents we are improving our household, ecologic, and economic health with fresh food produced right here in the Riverside region by our partner farms and growers. And we have accomplished a lot toward our vision of self-empowerment, following cooperative principles. We're real people, working together. The most potent word in any language. Working together is how we build and bette

r our lives toward a "sustainable community," what our membership most expects from its co-op according to our Autumn 2014 survey. The spirit of sustainability is to foster all our natural resources, human and environmental, for a strengthened future. That is the cooperative enterprise. BECOME A MEMBER. With more members we can accomplish so much more. Lifetime membership is $100. You can pay it all at once or pay $25 a month for four months. Help us build you a store, a future of local food, the key to healthy local growth. Be a part of it!

“Three Sisters” refers to a traditional Indigenous method for growing squash, corn and beans entwined together that draws on the strengths of each individual plant for the mutual benefit of all three. This soup celebrates a bountiful harvest and offers a way to explore Indigenous-inspired foods during Native American Heritage Month in November.
